The best way to get to the Cat Hole Trails is to drive there.

Take a right hand turn out of the Burger King parking lot.  Go past Walmart and to the next traffic light.  Turn right at this traffic light onto Winter Street.  Go about a half to three quarters of a mile on Winter St. to Veteran's Park Road on your right.  Go about 2 1/2 miles up this road and you'll come to the intersection of Foisy Hill Road and Cat Hole Road.  Bear to your left, up the hill on Cat Hole Road.  Drive to the end of the paved road and you'll see a dirt road going off to your right.  This is the Class 6 part of Cat Hole Road.   If you drive up in here about a half mile, you'll find a couple of large turn around areas to park and unload.  This will take you to the Cat Hole trails (Whitewater, Cornish Turnpike, Tower Trails, Vern's Trail, etc.) Please do not block any part of the main road. This is still a class 6 road and must be passable at all times especially by emergency vehicles. Violators will be towed by the city at vehicle owners expense.
